PROMOTIONS
Faculty and Staff Appreciation Game/Chamber of Commerce Game
Faculty and Staff will receive a free ticket and will be invited to attend a luncheon prior to the game if they pick up their ticket before Wednesday's game. The Chamber of Commerce will receive tickets at a $5 discounted rate.
PREGAME NOTES
After a lockdown 4th quarter against St. Bonaventure, Marshall leads the Sun Belt in scoring defense, allowing 55.3 points per game. This ranks 30th in the country. The Herd remains 4th in field goal percentage defense in the conference (36.1%), ranking 55th overall.
The Herd is first in the Sun Belt with 8.1 made three-pointers per game. Individually, Roshala Scott is third in the conference in three-pointers per game, with 2.30.
Abby Beeman is first in the conference in her assist/turnover ratio, (2.48). Her 52 assists are 50th best in the country (2nd in the SBC), and her 5.2 assists per game average are 28th best in the country (2nd in the SBC). Beeman hit two milestones against St. Bonaventure, scoring her 1,400th point and collecting her 400th rebound.

ABOUT THE MOCS
UT-Chattanooga enters Wednesday's game with an 8-5 record under first year head coach Shawn Poppie. The Mocs have defeated a Sun Belt foe in Georgia State en route to its eight wins
Leading the charge for the Mocs is senior Yazz Wazeerud-Din, who is averaging 17.2 points per game, with six 20+ point performances.
Senior Abbey Cornelius was a Southern Conference Preseason All-Conference member. The Knoxville native has had two double-doubles so far this season.
Like the Herd, the Mocs have been very stout on defense, leading the SoCon in allowing just 52.8 points per game.
SERIES HISTORY
Marshall and UT Chattanooga have met 36 times, but not since the 1996-97 season. The two sides met twice yearly at Southern Conference rivals, with the Mocs leading the close series, 20-17.
