Marshall Announces 2022 Big Green Coaches Tour Dates

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Athletics' Big Green Scholarship Foundation announced its 2022 Coaches Tour dates on Thursday.

The first stop will come in Cincinnati, Ohio this Sunday and will run through Monday, June 20, when it wraps up in Logan, West Virginia. The annual tour provides interaction with Thundering Herd coaches and administrators and allows attendees to "peek behind the curtain" of Marshall's athletic programs.

After being named the school's 22nd Athletic Director on February 21, Christian Spears will provide a look into the department, and will address the issues facing intercollegiate athletics.

The tour dates, and the corresponding details, are included below.

Sunday, May 15
Cincinnati, Ohio
Dinner at Legendary Run Golf Course (6 p.m., limited space available), followed by the annual Thunder Cup Golf Tournament on Monday, May 16 (also at Legendary Run Golf Course). The shotgun start will be at 8 a.m.

Monday, May 23
Beckley, WV
Annual golf tournament held at Grandview Country Club at 10 a.m.

Friday, June 3-Sunday, June 5
White Sulphur Springs, WV
Big Green at the Greenbrier, which features a golf tournament on the Meadows Course (Saturday, 8 a.m. shotgun start), a Ladies Day event at the resort's infinity pool (Saturday, 1 p.m.) and a dinner with coaches and administrators (Saturday, 7 p.m.).

Princeton, WV
Dinner in the Chuck Mathena Center at 6 p.m.

Thursday, June 9
Putnam County, WV
Dinner at Fireside Grille at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, June 11
MGM (Meigs, Gallia and Mason Counties)
Bowling event at Skyline Lanes Bowling Center at 2 p.m.

Wednesday, June 15
Parkersburg, WV
Dinner at the Shriners Hall, 6 p.m. (Doors open at 5:30)

Monday, June 20
Logan, WV
Dinner at Logan Country Club at 6:30 p.m.
