Tennis Announces 2022-23 Schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall University tennis head coach John Mercer announced the team's 2022-23 schedule on Monday.
The Herd kicks off its season at the Thunder in the Mountains in Charleston, West Virginia (Sept. 23-25). The event is co-hosted with West Virginia.
MU starts the month of October at the ITA Women's All-American Championship (Oct. 1-9) in Cary, North Carolina, before heading to Blacksburg, Virginia, for the ITA Atlantic Regional (Oct. 20-24). Marshall concludes October at the South Carolina Invite (Oct. 28-30) in Columbia, South Carolina.
The Green and White concludes the fall at the ITA Fall Nationals (Nov. 2-6) in San Diego, California, and at the Virginia Tech Invitational (Nov. 11-13) in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Marshall kicks off the spring at the Northern Illinois Invitational (Jan. 14-16) in DeKalb, Illinois, prior to starting the traditional dual schedule.
The Herd has nine duals at home this spring, including matchups against Bellarmine (Jan. 27), Charleston (Jan. 27), Penn State (Feb. 4), VCU (Feb. 5), ULM (Mar. 11), Arkansas State (Mar. 12), Old Dominion (Mar. 17), Southern Miss (Apr. 8) and South Alabama (Apr. 9).
Marshall's away duals feature matches at Kentucky (Jan. 22), Cincinnati (Feb. 12), Michigan State (Feb. 18), Eastern Michigan (Feb. 19), Radford (Mar. 15), Georgia State (Mar. 25), Troy (Mar. 26), Texas State (Mar. 31), Louisiana (Apr. 2), App State (Apr. 14), WKU (Apr. 16) and James Madison (Apr. 22).
The Sun Belt Conference Tournament is set to begin on April 27 in Peachtree City, Georgia.
