2023 Sweetheart Clinic Set for Feb. 4

Signups begin on Tuesday; high demand expected for free event
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The 2023 Sweetheart Clinic is set for Feb. 4 at the Chris Cline Indoor Athletic Complex.
Registration for the event begins on Tuesday and is open for girls ages 4-12. The event, which is sponsored by Marshall Health is free to participants and limited to the first 350 sweethearts. High demand is expected for this event, so it is advised that you sign up as soon as possible.
Participants will be divided into age groups and will rotate through nine different stations, learning developmental sports skills and fundamental aspects from the coaches and select student-athletes involved in each of Marshall's women's athletic programs.
Check-in begins at 9 a.m. and lasts 20 minutes inside the facility. The 2023 Sweetheart Clinic will begin promptly at 9:20 a.m.
Pre-registration for the 2023 Sweetheart Clinic will ONLY be accepted through the Marshall Athletics website.
Following the clinic, parents or guardians may pick up their participants and escort them to the to the Cam Henderson Center where participants are invited to enjoy a pep rally led by Marshall University cheerleaders and a brief pizza party, which leads up to the 1 p.m. Marshall women's basketball game against Georgia State.
