Herd Tennis Finishes Day Two of Liberty Hidden Dual #2

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Marshall University Tennis team started the Liberty Hidden Dual #2 with six wins over the host Liberty Flames on Saturday.

"It was a good match against another top regional opponent and another one coming tomorrow. We look forward to the challenge," Herd tennis head coach John Mercer said after the match.

Marshall split its doubles contests with Liberty seeing pairings of Emily Schut/Doroteja Joksovic and Gabrielle Clairotte/Rieke Gillar picking up victories.

The Herd then split eight singles contests with the Flames. Joksovic and Gillar each picked up straight-set triumphs over their opponents. Schut along with Andjela Lopicic each picked victories in super-tiebreakers.
