Marshall Athletics Announces Annual Holiday Toy Drives

Herd teaming with Walmart Barboursville and National Guard to provide for area kids
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Athletics is once again teaming with Walmart Barboursville and the U.S Army National Guard for its annual Holiday Toy Drives.
The Holiday Toy Drives will be taking place this week with three separate dates for fans to come see some of their favorite athletes while bringing toys or purchasing toys to be donated to the drive.
Here are the dates for each of the Holiday Toy Drives, which will all take place at Walmart Barboursville:
- Monday, Dec. 11
o 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. – Men's Basketball
- Wednesday, Dec. 13
o 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Women's Basketball
- Saturday, Dec. 16
o 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. – Student-Athletes, Coaches, Administrators
During these Holiday Toy Drives, Marshall's student-athletes and representatives will be on-hand to serve as shopping helpers for those taking part in the drive while also helping to load the Toy Truck and signing autographs for all in attendance to help spread holiday cheer.
Following Saturday's event, the Toy Truck will head off to prepare for distribution to kids all around the Tri-State.
