Marshall Women’s Basketball announces Education Day set for Feb. 7th vs Louisiana

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University women's basketball team has announced it will host local middle and elementary schools in celebration of Education Day on Wednesday, Feb. 7. Tipoff is set for 11 a.m. at Cam Henderson Center where the Herd women take on Louisiana.
Complimentary admission will be provided to the students, staff and chaperones of attending schools. Students and chaperones are encouraged to bring their own clear-bag lunch. Each school will have its own seating section at the Henderson Center and will be given an educational packet to complete while at the game. Educational programming will be focused on the educational components of basketball, Black History Month, STEM and National Women's and Girls in Sports Day.
