Herd associate head coach travels to coach in test series against Chile

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall University volleyball associate head coach Charlie French is set to be an assistant coach for the New Zealand women's volleyball national team in a test series against Chile from June 26 to July 5.
"I am very excited to have the opportunity to head to Chile and be a part of the New Zealand Volley Ferns staff," French said about the opportunity. "Being able to work with Volleyball New Zealand in the past was a great experience and to get the opportunity to do it again and give back alongside Sebastian Gonzalez Moreno and Kim Smith is such an honor."
French will coach in eight matches, potentially nine, during her time with New Zealand during the series against Chile. The matches will take place in several Chilean cities including San Vincente, Rancagua, Iquique, Los Andes, Concepcion and Santiago.
