Marshall Men’s Basketball Contest at Kentucky to be Aired on SEC Network

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University men's basketball team will take on Kentucky at 7 p.m. on Nov. 24 at Rupp Arena in a game to be nationally televised on SEC Network, Kentucky and the SEC announced on Thursday.
"Obviously it's a huge challenge to go into Rupp Arena, but it's a great opportunity. I think our kids will embrace the challenge," Herd men's basketball coach Dan D'Antoni said about the opportunity his team to play against Wildcats on national television.
The last time the Herd appeared on the SEC Network was in 2019 when it played at Florida on November 29.
Marshall is looking for its first win in its all-time series against Kentucky.
The allotment from the University of Kentucky is limited, so the Big Green will be contacting donors based on priority point order for ticket allocations.
