HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Men's Basketball Head Coach Cornelius Jackson announced the addition of Bryce Slay to the team's 2025 Signing Class on Wednesday. Slay joins The Herd after playing basketball for four years at Carmel Christian in Mathews, North Carolina.

"We are incredibly excited to have Bryce join our Marshall Basketball Family," Jackson said. "He is a versatile, high-IQ guard with a mixture of size, skill and athleticism. Bryce's ability to contribute on both ends of the floor will be a huge asset to our program. We're really looking forward to his arrival in Huntington."

Slay, the son of Marshall alumnus and Herd Men's Basketball great Tamar Slay, is off to a fantastic start to his senior campaign, averaging 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game.

During his junior season, he averaged 17.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game as he was named NCISSA First-Team All-State. Upon the completion of that season, Slay was invited to the prestigious NBPA Top 100 Camp in Orlando, Florida. The camp is sponsored by the NBA and annually invites the top 100 high school basketball players nationwide to compete.
