HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Herd women's basketball team (1-2) wraps up its three-game homestand with unbeaten George Mason (3-0) Sunday evening at 6 p.m. from the Cam Henderson Center.

- On Apr. 12, 2024, Coach Juli Fulks became the ninth head coach in the history of the Herd.
- Fulks - the 2024 WBCA DIII Coach of the Year - joins Marshall with 400 career victories in 20 seasons, winning the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball National Championship.
PRE-GAME NOTES
- Senior forward Aislynn Hayes scored a Marshall career-high 27 points Wednesday in the win over Elon. She is tied for second in the Sun Belt Conference in scoring, averaging 18.3 PPG.
- Right behind Hayes in the SBC scoring ranks is junior Meredith Maier who is fourth with 16.3 PPG. Maier leads the conference with 4.0 3-pointers per contest.
- Sunday's contest concludes a three-game homestand before Marshall travels to the inaugural 2024 WBCA Showcase in Orlando, Fla.
- Marshall and George Mason met for the first time last season, with the Patriots winning 84-77 in Fairfax, Va.

- George Mason is 3-0 with all three wins exceeding 20 points. Marshall will have to take care of the ball, as the Patriots are forcing 24.0 turnovers per game, 36th in the nation.
- Three Patriot players are averaging double figures in scoring after the team's three victories. Kennedy Harris leads the squad with 14.7 PPG.
- George Mason is playing its first road contest of the season. Last year, Mason was 11-6 on the road while 12-1 at EagleBank Arena.
