Kelsheimer Concludes Zones With Historic Day On Three-Meter Boards

PRINCETON, N.J. – Marshall University junior Grace Kelsheimer recorded another historic at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships on Tuesday in Princeton, New Jersey, this time on the three-meter boards.

"It was another tough competition," Herd Diving coach Megan Siford said after Kelsheimer's final day of competition. "She did a great job of keeping her composure on the three-meter boards! I am so incredibly proud of her for her performance and all her accomplishments this year. I am also so excited to see what's to come next year for her."

The junior finished with a score of 248.55 for 31st place, the highest finish in program history besting Maddie Young's 44th place finish at the event. The placement came against a field of 75 competitors in the event.

The Westlake, Ohio, native's highest scoring dive on the day came in the sixth round with a 5235D (Back 1 1/2 Somersault, 2 1/2 Twist Free) with a score of 46.20.
