Marshall Swimming & Diving Falls at West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Marshall University Swimming and Diving Team fell 214-61 on Friday to the West Virginia Mountaineers in Morgantown, West Virginia.

"The team always enjoys competing against WVU," Herd Swimming and Diving Head Coach Phoebe Campbell said. "Both programs bring out a high level of competitiveness and determination from each other. Today was no exception. We're excited to get back to training in preparation for our first home meet against JMU on October 30!"

Sam Sowers led off the first top-three finish for the Herd taking third in the 1000 Freestyle (11:40.60).

Then in the 50 Freestyle, Halla Amr Salem took second (24.31) with Karley Wolfgram capturing third (24.32).

Sadie Rogers took third in the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:06.52.

In diving, Ally Humbert took first on the 1m and 3m boards.
