High School: attended Zion Community High School for four years…four-time NISCA All-America (three-time 200 medley relay, 100 Breaststroke), four-year state qualifier, three-time relay state medalist, two-time individual state medalist and holds the 200-yard medley relay high school record.
Personal: Born Feb. 22, 2006…daughter of Sarah and Scott Akin…has one sister, Lexi, and a brother, Nick…chose Marshall because “of all the support it had in academics and in athletics”…her biggest role model is “my mom because I can see how hard she works each day and still is able to come home and make it a priority to spend time with our family which makes it easy to look up to her”…after her collegiate career is over she wants to find a career in healthcare…enjoys photography and baking outside of sports.
