Blessing King Joins Herd Women’s Hoops

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall University Women's Basketball head coach Juli Fulks announced the signing Morehead State University transfer, Blessing King
King is a junior transfer after starting 25 games with the Eagles in 2023-24. King is another top rebounding threat for Fulks's team.
"As one of the top rebounders in the OVC, Blessing brings proven athleticism, speed, and scoring to our roster," Coach Fulks said.
King ranked second in the Ohio Valley Conference with 10.6 rebounds per game. She remained in the Top-10 in NCAA DI in offensive rebounds throughout the 2023-24 season. The Columbus, Ohio native had 20 games with 10 or more rebounds.
Prior to MSU, King played a season at Florida SouthWestern State after graduating high school from Worthington Christian in Columbus. She scored over 1,100 points as a high school athlete and is the school's all-time leading rebounder.
