Herd Women’s Basketball to Open Season at Toledo in MAC-SBC Challenge

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall's Sun Belt Conference-winning women's basketball team will open its 2024-25 season on the road against the defending regular season champions of the Mid-American Conference, Toledo, in the MAC-SBC Challenge, the leagues announced in a joint-statement Thursday.
The teams will meet on Monday, Nov. 4 on the first date of the regular season across Division I College Basketball. Marshall will also host a game against a MAC opponent to be announced later in the season as part of the second leg of the challenge.
Marshall and Toledo will meet in what will be Head Coach Juli Fulks's regular season debut as the leader of the Thundering Herd.
