Herd Tennis Unveils 2024-25 Schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Women's Tennis released its 2024-25 schedule on Thursday. This season's slate features 11 matches this spring.
The Herd begins the season in the fall at the ITA All-American (Sept. 21-23). MU is also scheduled to play fall tournaments at Cincinnati (Oct. 4-6) and at the College of Charleston (Nov. 1-3) with the ITA Atlantic Regional (Oct. 17-22) in between.
The Fall concludes with the ITA Masters and Sectional Championship (Nov. 7-10) and the NCAA Individual Championships (Nov. 19-24) as the NCAA has moved the individual championships to the Fall with the team championship remaining in the Spring.
During the Spring, Marshall is scheduled to host 11 matches, five non-conference and six Sun Belt Conference matches. In non-conference play, The Herd welcomes ACC-foe Wake Forest (Feb. 2) with SBC contests against Southern Miss (Mar. 15), South Alabama (Mar. 16), App State (Mar. 22), Georgia Southern (Apr. 4), Coastal Carolina (Apr. 6) and Texas State (Apr. 12).
The road portion of the scheduled has matches against three Power-Five programs, at Indiana (Feb. 7), at Virginia Tech (Feb. 14) and at in-state rival WVU (Feb. 23).
Marshall's five SBC opponents this season are JMU (Mar. 8), ODU (Mar. 9), ULM (Mar. 29), Arkansas State (Mar. 30) and Georgia State (Apr. 19).
