Collaboration between university, athletics to offer bigger, better benefits for members
Marshall Alumni/Big Green PerksConnect | 2025 Big Green Membership Drive
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Big Green Scholarship Foundation announced that it has entered into a partnership with Marshall University's Alumni Association for PerksConnect, which offers all active Big Green members new and improved perks.
PerksConnect will be an expansion of the previous HerdPerks program that already provided substantial discounts and exclusive items to Big Green members.
"The Big Green is excited to partner with the Marshall University Foundation to offer even more perks and discounts – both local and national – that alumni and donors can use daily," said Devin Miller, the Big Green Scholarship Foundation's Director of Athletic Fund.
The partnership with the Marshall University Alumni Association taps into an expanded network of retailers and merchants, which gives Big Green members access to thousands of brand-name items, free coupons for restaurants and groceries and many more benefits that will save members hundreds of dollars annually on fine and casual dining, travel, shopping, local attractions and much more.
The concept for the Marshall Alumni/Big Green PerksConnect program is built on the basis that there is strength in numbers.
By combining two powerful fundraising arms of the university and athletics sector, the network of merchants whom members have access to expands for both sides while aligning both programs for bigger savings and more convenience.
In addition to the previous perks that members received, there are now 380+ new perks/deals that can be found through Marshall Alumni/Big Green PerksConnect.
