HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The fifth-seeded Marshall University Men's Basketball team (19-12) is set to begin its 2025 Sun Belt Conference Tournament in the fourth round on Friday at 6 p.m. EST/5 p.m. CST in Pensacola, Florida.
The Herd will take on the winner of Thursday's matchup between the eighth-seeded Georgia State Panthers and ninth-seeded Georgia Southern Eagles.

- Marshall Head Coach Cornelius 'Corny' Jackson was named a finalist for both the Joe B. Hall Award and Ben Jobe Award this week.
- In the Sun Belt Postseason Awards, Obinna Anochili-Killen was named the Defensive Player of the Year and earned an all-SBC Second Team nod.
- The native of Lagos, Nigeria, has blocked 90 shots this season, second most in the country, while leading the team with 14.0 points per game.
