Herd Track & Field Closes Competition at SBC Outdoor Championships

HARRISONBURG, Va.- Marshall Track & Field closed its 2025 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships with a pair of podium finishes and a school record broken Saturday at JMU.
Freshman Destiny Berryman and Hannah Wyler finished second and third in the 1500 meter finals, both finishing with new personal records.
On the men's side, the team set a school record in the 4x100 relay. The team of Joey Bloebaum, Samari McCord, Jonathan Owusu, and Chris Swint raced a time of 40.57 to score points. The women's 4x100 and men's 4x400 had the second-fastest times in school history.
Other scorers Saturday included Nyah Harrison in the 400, a trio of Myah Boze, Dezire Gee, and Azure Travis in the 400 hurdles.
Both the men and women finished 10th, women scoring 36 points and the men nine.
Marshall's full results are listed below. For preliminary qualifiers, "Qualified" is listed in all capital letters to represent an automatic qualification berth via a heat win.
