Herd Men’s Hoops set for 18 game SBC schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Sun Belt Conference released its 2025-26 men's basketball conference schedule on Thursday, as announced by the league office.
Marshall's 18-game conference schedule is scheduled to begin conference play 2025 at 2025 SBC Tournament Champion Troy on December 20 with the team's SBC home opener scheduled for New Year's Eve against Georgia State. The Herd is also set to host the 2025 SBC Tournament top seed and Co-Regular Season Champion South Alabama Jaguars on January 24.
The 2025-26 Sun Belt Conference men's basketball season will culminate with the 2026 Sun Belt Men's Basketball Championship which will be held March 3-9 at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, Fla.
The team's 2025-26 non-conference schedule and tip times will be released at a later date.
