Herd Set to Start 2026 Spring Slate at EKU and Bellarmine

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Tennis Team is prepared to start the spring with a pair of road matches on Saturday. The Herd is set to play at EKU at 9 am followed by a match at Bellarmine at 4 pm.

Saturday will mark the first duals for Marshall this season.
Returning to Huntington are Meredith Riley, Katy Limanen, Nour El Ouazzani, Alina Mokrynska and Johanna Strom.
Four newcomers joined MU for the season in Paula Berzina, Sarah Copley, Polina Gumeniuk and Thalia Smith.
Johanna Strom was one of 32 student-athletes to qualify for the singles tournament at the ITA Sectionals in the fall.
The native of Sweden made a run to the quarterfinals of the ITA Atlantic Regional in Blacksburg, Virginia, in October to start her senior season.
