HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall Women's Basketball Team is ready to welcome Herd fans back to the Cam Henderson Center for the 2026-27 season with a full slate of promotions, themed games and special events throughout the year.
 
From Faculty and Staff Appreciation and Education Day to Black Out, White Out, Kids Club/Youth Nation and Senior Night, each home game will provide fans another reason to experience Marshall Women's Basketball at the Cam.
 
Season Tickets On Sale Now
Marshall Women's Basketball season tickets for the 2026-27 season are on sale now, with options starting at just $30 per ticket.
Fans have several options to experience the Herd all season long:
  • Family Packs – $30 per ticket: Available with the purchase of four or more season tickets, providing an affordable option for families and groups.
  • Premier Seating – $75 per ticket: Premier seating is available in the four sections surrounding midcourt, putting fans close to the action all season long.
 
Season tickets provide access to the Herd's entire home schedule at the Cam Henderson Center, including a full slate of non-conference and Sun Belt Conference action. Fans can purchase season tickets at HerdZone.com/Tickets or by calling the Marshall Ticket Office at 800-THE-HERD.
 
In addition to an exciting home schedule, each game at the Cam will feature a special theme, promotion or event designed to create a memorable experience for Herd fans of all ages.

Friday, Oct. 16 vs. UPIKE – 6 p.m.
Opening Night at the Cam
The Herd is back! Marshall welcomes fans to the Cam Henderson Center for the first home action of the 2026-27 season. Admission is free, but you must claim a ticket. 
 
Tuesday, Oct. 27 vs. Kentucky Christian – 6 p.m.
Join the Herd for another early-season opportunity to see Marshall Women's Basketball at home before the regular season starts in November. Admission is free, but must claim a ticket.



Friday, Nov. 6 vs. North Carolina A&T – 6 p.m.
Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night | WNIT Recognition
Marshall Athletics celebrates the faculty and staff who make an impact across the Marshall University community. The evening will also feature a special recognition of Marshall Women's Basketball's 2026 WNIT Championship. A promo code will be sent to faculty and staff to claim their free ticket.
 
Tuesday, Nov. 10 vs. Howard – 6 p.m.
We Are Thankful
Marshall will recognize and thank those who serve our community and country, with a special emphasis on veterans and military members.
 
Thursday, Nov. 12 vs. West Virginia State – 11 a.m.
Mental Health Awareness | Green Out
The Herd will shine a light on the importance of mental health awareness. Fans are encouraged to wear Kelly Green as Marshall takes the floor in its green uniforms, with additional mental health awareness elements featured throughout the game.
 
Tuesday, Nov. 24 vs. Davis & Elkins – 6 p.m.
Food Drive
Help the Herd give back this holiday season. Fans are encouraged to support the food drive as Marshall takes on Davis & Elkins. Fans are encouraged to bring non-parishable food items to the game. 
 
Monday, Nov. 30 vs. Ohio – 6 p.m.
Black Out
It's time to Black Out the Cam! Fans are encouraged to wear black as the Herd takes the floor in its black uniforms against Ohio.

Sunday, Dec. 6 vs. Harvard – 3 p.m.
Holiday Game
Celebrate the holiday season with the Herd! Fans can enjoy an afternoon of Marshall Basketball and holiday-themed fun throughout the Cam as Marshall welcomes Harvard to Huntington. Fans are encouraged to wear their ugly Christmas sweaters to the game. 

Wednesday, Dec. 16 vs. App State – 11 a.m.
Education Day
One of the loudest games of the season returns! Area students will pack the Cam for a special 11 a.m. tip featuring basketball, educational programming and plenty of fun. If your school is interested in joining this game for free, please email Laurin Bentley at bentley80@marshall.edu

Thursday, Jan. 7 vs. Louisiana Tech – 6 p.m.
Campers Welcome Back
Calling all Marshall Women's Basketball Campers! Camp participants are invited back to the Cam as the Herd welcomes Louisiana Tech to Huntington.

Saturday, Jan. 9 vs. Louisiana – 1 p.m.
Kids Club / Youth Nation
It's all about the young members of Herd Nation! Marshall Kids Club and Youth Nation members are invited for a family-friendly Saturday afternoon of Marshall Basketball.

Thursday, Jan. 14 vs. Georgia State – 6 p.m.
Greek Night
Marshall's fraternities and sororities are invited to pack the Cam and show their Herd spirit as Marshall takes on Georgia State.

Saturday, Jan. 16 vs. James Madison – 1 p.m.
White Out | Alumni Game
Wear white and help pack the Cam for a big Saturday matchup with JMU. Marshall will welcome Women's Basketball alumni back to Huntington and celebrate the history and tradition of the program with a special Ring of Honor recognition. The day will also feature a cheer clinic at halftime.

Wednesday, Feb. 3 vs. Georgia Southern – 6 p.m.
Black History Month
Marshall Women's Basketball celebrates Black History Month and recognizes the achievements and impact of Black leaders, trailblazers and members of the Marshall community.

Saturday, Feb. 6 vs. MAC-SBC Challenge Opponent – 1 p.m.
Sweetheart Clinic
The annual Sweetheart Clinic returns as the Herd hosts its MAC-Sun Belt Challenge matchup. Marshall will wear pink uniforms, with clinic participants invited to join the Herd for a special afternoon at the Cam.

Saturday, Feb. 13 vs. ULM – 1 p.m.
Valentine's Day Game
Spend Valentine's weekend with the Herd! Fans are invited to the Cam for a Valentine's-themed afternoon as Marshall welcomes ULM. 

Tuesday, Feb. 23 vs. Old Dominion – 6 p.m.
Herd Strong / Play4Kay
Marshall will honor those impacted by cancer during its annual Herd Strong/Play4Kay game. The Herd will wear pink as Marshall Women's Basketball joins the fight against cancer and celebrates survivors, fighters and their families.

Friday, Feb. 26 vs. Coastal Carolina – 6 p.m.
Senior Night
Help Marshall celebrate the members of the Women's Basketball senior class as they take the floor at the Cam for their final regular-season home game. The evening will include a special Senior Night recognition along with additional gameday entertainment.
