HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Women's Basketball (27-9) plays for its first Postseason Tournament Championship Saturday.

COACH JULI FULKS

  • Head Coach Juli Fulks is in year two leading Marshall's Women's Basketball program. No stranger to postseason basketball, Fulks came to the Herd with a prestigious 400 wins while leading Transylvania to the 2022-23 DIII National Championship. 
  • In Fulks' last three seasons in Lexington, her teams at Transylvania went to three straight Elite Eights and two straight Final Fours
  • Fulks and the Herd oversaw a seven win conference improvement in 2025-26, and 12 more wins to this point from year one to year two.

ABOUT THE 2025-26 HERD

  • Marshall's 27th win Wednesday in the WNIT Fab 4 was a program record for most in a season. 
  • The Herd's Timaya Lewis-Eutsey is the team's leading scorer, averaging 19.8 PPG. The Sun Belt Conference Newcomer of the Year, First Team All-Conference member and All-Defensive Team member has 134 steals this season, a program record.
  • Lewis-Eutsey has had seven 30+ point games, 16 20+ point games, and 31 double figures games this season.

MILESTONE WATCH

  • Timaya Lewis-Eutsey has scored 714 points this season, the most by any Herd player this century. MU Hall of Famer Karen Pelphrey's 732 points in 1985-86 is the most by any Marshall player in program history.
  • Meredith Maier has scored 978 points for her career with the Herd. Her 89 3-pointers this season is 2nd all-time behind Shayna Gore's 96 in 2018-19. Maier and Gore are the only two players in Herd history with 200+ triples made.
  • The trio of Peyton Ilderton, Meredith Maier, and Aarionna Redman have been members of the program for the last four-plus seasons. With 85 wins over the last four seasons, the trio will leave Marshall with the best four-year run in program history.

INTERESTING FACTS

  • April 4 is the latest date in a season Marshall Women's Basketball has played an official game. The 1969-70 Green Gals defeated Concord on April 4 to finish a perfect 7-0 season. 
  • April 4 is also the date Marshall's Men's Basketball team won a CIT Title in 2019 in its victory over Green Bay.
  • The WNIT Championship trophy will be lifted for the second time in its history in the Mountain State. In 2015, WVU and UCLA faced off in Charleston.
