Herd Tennis Named an ITA All-Academic Team

Gumeniuk, Riley, Smith named ITA All-Scholar Award nominees

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Tennis Team was named an ITA All-Academic Team on Monday, as announced by the ITA.
 
In addition to the team award, freshmen Polina Gumeniuk and Thalia Smith, along with sophomore Meredith Riley were honored as ITA All-Academic Scholar Award honorees.
 
To qualify, athletes must hold a 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale over the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form. Programs must hold a team grade-point average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale and have all athletes listed on the institutional eligibility form.
