Encova presents weekly radio show with HC Tony Gibson to discuss Herd football
2026 MARSHALL FOOTBALL TICKETS
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The 2026 debut of 'Inside Marshall Football' – Marshall Football's live weekly radio show – is set for 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1 from Davis' Place in Huntington.
Brought to you by Encova, 'Inside Marshall Football' will feature Marshall football coach Tony Gibson and veteran 'Voice of the Thundering Herd' Steve Cotton as they break down each week's opponent and discuss the 2026 Marshall Football team.
The show, which can be heard live on 93.7-FM The Dawg, WRVC 94.1-FM and 930-AM or through the Varsity Network, returns to Davis' Place for its third year, continuing a successful run as Marshall supporters have gathered to get ready for the week's opponents by hearing from Gibson and special guests who join the show to discuss Marshall Football and Marshall Athletics.
"We are incredibly grateful and honored to host the Coaches Show for a third consecutive year and connect our amazing fans with the heart of this program," said Gifford Perdue, Jr., owner of Davis' Place. "The energy and atmosphere down here on the southside is different! We love the Herd forever and this is their home."
The signature interactive live broadcast will feature 11 shows at Davis' Place throughout the 2026 season, providing fans with the most in-depth insight on the team while enabling patrons to meet Marshall coaches and players who are in attendance.
There will be no show for the Georgia State game week due to a scheduled Men's Basketball game on Nov. 17.
The Sept. 1 opening show at Davis' Place will preview the Sept. 5 contest at Penn State that opens Coach Gibson's second season at the helm of the Herd.

- Nov. 24 – Game 12: ULM game
