SOPHOMORE SEASON (2010)
Played in 30 matches and 95 sets as an outside hitter ... started in six contests ... finished the season with 257 kills, which was second highest on the team ... had four plus-15 matches in kills ... performed the best against Houston (10/14) with 20 kills ... had the second highest attack attempts with 742 and finished with a 2.71 kills per set average ... had a career-high 48 attack attempts against SMU (9/5) ... posted 48 digs and totaled 40 blocks, eight being solo and 40 being assisted ... tallied a career high six blocks against Memphis (10/1).
FRESHMAN SEASON (2009)
Participated in 79 sets in first season at MU...totaled 14 service aces off the bench as a reliable spot server...totaled 37 kills, 33 digs and 15 total blocks...produced three multi-service ace affairs...tallied five kills and five digs at N.C. A&T (9/8)...posted career-highs in kills (7) and total blocks (5) at SMU (10/3)...recorded five kills on 11 attacks with only one error for a .364 attacking percentage vs. Memphis (11/8).
PRIOR TO MARSHALL
Tomas hails from Aledo HS where she was a two-year starter at outside hitter...played freshman and sophomore seasons at Uvalde High School prior to transferring...named first team All-District and all-tournament team at the Bev Ball Classic in Abilene, Texas in 2008...team was undefeated at district champions, bi-district champions, area champions and regional quarter final champions in 2007 and 2008...All-District Academic Team recipient in 2007...AVCA National Gameplan Team Academic Award winner in 2006-07...member of the National Honor Society...majoring in business.
