Big Green Announces HERDSPYS Award Winners

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Â Marshall Athletics' Big Green Scholarship Foundation held its fourth HERDSPYs event, honoring student-athletes and recognizing some of the greatest moments in Thundering Herd history, as voted by Thundering Herd fans via HerdZone.com.
Winning the top moment of the year was men's basketball's postseason run, snapping its 31-year NCAA Tournament drought.
Larry Aaron was awarded the HERDSPY for Courage and Commitment posthumously. The award will be named for him in all future HERDSPY ceremonies.
