Rob Heuer was hired as Marshall's Assistant Compliance Director in April of 2007. Heuer worked the position on an interim basis prior to being named to the post full-time and served as the Compliance liaison to Marshall's Olympic Sports. Heuer originally joined the Marshall Compliance staff in May 2006 when he served as a Compliance Graduate Assistant for The Herd.
Prior to arriving in Huntington, Heuer worked in multiple capacities in the athletic department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Heuer's duties at Nebraska include working as a student assistant in the recruiting office for the Cornhusker Football program and as an assistant in the Athletic Communications department. He recently completed an internship with Nebraska's Athletic Certification office, where he dealt with financial aid and eligibility. Heuer also assisted the Husker Compliance office by developing a new Agent Policy and improving the Compliance website.
Heuer was a cheerleader on the Nebraska Spirit Squad for four years, serving as captain during his senior season. He graduated from Nebraska with his bachelor's degree in Business Administration in December of 2005. Heuer also earned his Masters degree from Marshall, graduating in May of 2007 with a degree in Sport Management.
