William Timpano was named Assistant AD for Compliance in August 2016 after serving as Assistant Compliance Director since December 2014 and Compliance Graduate Assistant prior to that.
Timpano earned his Bachelor's degree in History from SUNY Cortland in May 2013. As an undergrad, he gained experience in several areas of athletics at the collegiate and professional levels. Throughout his junior and senior years at Cortland, Timpano performed operations and facilities duties for the Red Dragons' varsity, club and intramural teams as student supervisor of the Cortland Stadium Complex. He worked in a similar capacity for the athletics department at Mohawk Valley Community College from August 2009 to May 2011. Timpano also interned with the New York Jets at the team's 2012 summer training camp, where he worked in operations and public relations.
A native of New Hartford, NY, Timpano is pursuing a Master's degree in Sport Administration at Marshall.
