GP/GS: 33/33… Anchor of the Sun Belt Conference winning Marshall women's basketball team in 2023-24, leading the team in Points Per Game (16.6), 3-Pointers (67), Rebounds Per Game (5.6), Assists Per Game (6.3), and Steals Per Game (2.3) ... Led the conference with 209 assists (8th in NCAA D1), the second-most in a single-season in program history (Karla May - 215 - 1982-83) ... Recorded Marshall's first triple-double in the 21st century with a 13 pt. 11 ast. 10 reb. performance against Point Park (Nov. 20), recorded second triple-double with 15 pt. 11 ast. 11 reb. in win against Old Dominion (Jan. 18). one of two players in NCAA D1 to record multiple triple-doubles in same season (Caitlin Clark) ... Scored Marshall career-high 28 points in win at Ga. Southern (Jan. 27) ... Scored 10+ points in 30 of Marshall's 32 games
2022-23 (Junior)
GP/GS: 31/31… Joined Marshall as a DII transfer from Shepherd University … Joined having already scored 1,200 points, 300 rebounds, and 400 assists for the Rams … Made an immediate impact for MU, averaging 13.9 PPG, and a historic 5.6 assists per game … led the Herd with 164 assists, the most by any player in the 21st century... Both figures ranked in the top-20 nationally… led the Sun Belt Conference with 35.6 minutes per game played, with over 1,100 game minutes logged during the season.
PRIOR TO MARSHALL: Played two seasons at Shepherd (Division II) ...Led the team in scoring (19.7 ppg), assists (7.3 apg), steals (95) and minutes played (38.5 mpg) as a freshman....Named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Freshman of the Year and the First Team All-PSAC East Team... Beeman averaged 19.0 per game yet again scoring a total of 628 points in 2021-22.... Beeman was named to the 2021-22 NCAA II WBCA Coaches' All-America Team as a well as a D2CAA All-America selection. She helped her team to a 25-8 record and a berth in the Atlantic Region where she was named to the All-Tournament team
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Frankfort High School … Played for coach Michael Miller… Was a four-year letterwinner ... Four time All-State selection…Scored 2,217 points, 540 assists, 404 steals, and 547 rebounds in high school career ... All-State track runner, runner-up in long jump junior and senior year.
PERSONAL: Born August 14, 2001 in Ridgeley, West Virginia....Parents are Scott and Amy Beeman...Has two siblings, Katie Beeman and Alexis Phares.....Plans to major in Business....Chose Marshall because of, "Proximity to home, and the great culture."
