PRIOR TO MARSHALL: Graduate transfer from Georgetown….played 78 games for the Hoyas….Wright averaged 4.6 points and 3.2 boards per contest in 2021-22. Wright shot 50.5-percent from the floor and an even better 53.9-percent during Big East conference games for the year…. Wright scored a career-high 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting against DePaul. Wright shot 48.9-percent from the floor during her four seasons with the Hoyas. She is also a multi-time Big East All-Academic member.
HIGH SCHOOL: Wright was ranked in the ESPN Top 100 coming out of high school at Polytechnic Preparatory Day School for coach Michael Junich....All time leading scorer...5x All-Ivy, 2x All-State....Averaged 23 points and 12 rebounds.
PERSONAL: Born August 3, 1999 in Brooklyn, New York...Parents are late Gartrell Wright and Lisa Caston....Has one sibling, Shane...Chose Marshall because, "Of the family atmosphere."....Biggest role model is "My mom, because I watched her struggle and stumble but she never waivered."
