2011: Ran in 5 of the Herd[apos]s 6 meets...Ran a season-best 8k time of 27:19.9 at the C-USA Championships... Ran an 8k time of 27:40.36 at the Greater Louisville Classic... C-USA Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll.
2010: Ran a 15:45 in the 5K at the EKU Relays in his only race of the season.
2009: Finished 31st at the Greensboro Invitational... Placed 51st at the Furman Invitational.
Prior to Marshall: 2008 West Virginia all-state performer... A two time 4x800 champion in track... Named to the All-MSAC team four consecutive years, and to the All-Region team three times... Was a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Son of Tim and Shelli Beckett... Has one younger brother... Plans to major in graphic design.
