R-SOPHOMORE SEASON (2020): Massive target for freshman QB Grant Wells who saw action in all 10 games (six starts) … Started the final six games of the season … Emerged as the team’s go-to receiver, leading the team in receptions (35), receiving yards (409) and tied for the team lead in receiving touchdowns (four) … Finished No. 11 in C-USA in receptions and No. 14 in the league in receiving yards … 2020 breakout came in a road win against LATech in which he had five catches for 65 yards and a touchdown … Caught a 26-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter against LT … Built upon that performance with a career-high six receptions for 79 yards the next week in a win against FAU … Three receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown vs. UMass … Turned in a huge performance in a win against MT: five receptions, 62 yards and two touchdowns … Had touchdown catches of 17 and 28 yards against the Raiders … Four receptions for 34 yards against Rice … Two receptions in the C-USA title game … Tied a career-high with six receptions in the Camellia Bowl vs. Buffalo, establishing a new career best with 88 receiving yards.
R-FRESHMAN SEASON (2019): Played in nine games, making three starts at wide receiver … caught 13 passes for 187 yards and one touchdown … Averaged 14.4 yards per catch … Season long catch of 33 yards … Made collegiate debut with a career-high five receptions for a career-best 82 yards and first career touchdown in a win against VMI … Three receptions for 40 yards in a win against Ohio … Two receptions for 28 yards against nationally ranked Cincinnati … Hauled in a 17-yard reception on the go-ahead drive late in the fourth quarter of a win at FAU … Two receptions for 20 yards in a win against WKU.
