Luke Haker has served as the Assistant Director of Football Operations since the spring of 2021. In his current role, Haker coordinates team travel, post season bowl logistics, team meals, serves as the liaison for facilities, oversees and helped bring Teamworks to Marshall, and assists with the day-to-day operations of the program. Haker served as the team travel advance personnel and played a major role in the execution of the 2021 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. Haker also assisted with renovations of the Shewey Building which included an upgraded team room, position rooms, multipurpose room, and new team locker room.

A 2019 graduate of Mississippi State University, he spent four seasons as a football operations student assistant with the Bulldogs, where he helped plan and prep for the 2016 St. Petersburg Bowl, 2017 TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, 2018 Outback Bowl and the 2019 Music City Bowl. Haker earned his Bachelor of Accountancy degree in three and a half years (fall 2016-fall 2019). While in Starkville, Haker was a part of the Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership and Honors Organization and the Shackouls Honors College.
