PRIOR TO MARSHALL: Transferred from Mount Union after one season...Coached at Parkersburg by Barney Buttrey...Three-time all-conference honoree and named all-state twice...Attended the U.S. Army All-American combine...Named MVP of the BACF (Battle Against Cystic Fibrosis) game and played in the North-South game...Amassed 92 career catches for 1,253 yards and 12 touchdowns...As a senior, he racked up 37 catches for 643 yards and five scores...Posted 156 career tackles on defense, with 32 pass breakups, 16 interceptions and four sacks...As a senior, he posted 79 stops, eight pass breakups, seven interceptions and returned three for scores.
