AS A GRADUATE (2020-21)
No fall season due to COVID-19. A grad student, Dani played in 15 of 16 singles competitions, winning 3 out of 10. She played in 14 of 16 doubles competition finishing with a 6-5 overall record. Named as one of the ITA 2021 Scholar Athletes, an honor given to student-athletes who maintain at least a 3.5 GPA for the current academic year. A member of the 2020-21 team that received the Conference USA Sport Academic Award and ITA All-Academic team.
AS A SENIOR (19-2020)
During the fall season, she went undefeated in the singles matches that she competed in. She also had two wins with her doubles partner, Anna Smith. In the spring season, Dani played in 16 of the 17 matches the Herd competed in. She had seven singles wins as well as 10 doubles wins. On the singles side, she had big victories over Winthrop and Miami (OH). The team was named an ITA All-Academic Team and she was named an ITA- Scholar Athlete. She was also on the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
AS A JUNIOR (2019)
Returned to the team after a two-semester hiatus to post 16 combined wins (eight singles, eight doubles) ... Paired with Anna Smith to form Marshall's top doubles pairing, teaming up to win seven doubles matches over the final half of the season ... Earned a Conference USA singles win against North Texas ... Earned doubles wins against Conference USA opponents from Middle Tennessee and UAB, along with a doubles win in the first round of the Conference USA Championships ... Earned singles wins over Power Five competition from Louisville and Penn State.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2017)
Won six singles matches in the fall before leaving for undisclosed reasons ... Won two singles matches at each of the three tournaments competed in (South Carolina, Wake Forest, College of Charleston) ... Added six doubles wins playing with multiple different partners, including a perfect 3-0 doubles weekend at South Carolina ... Added a pair of doubles wins at Wake Forest ... Named to the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
AS A FRESHMAN (2016-17)
Won 27 total matches, with most of those wins coming during the spring season ... Won seven singles matches and 11 doubles matches in the spring, playing primarily at the No. 6 singles spot and pairing with Stephanie Smith at the No. 3 doubles spot ... Earned Power Five conference singles wins against opponents from Wisconsin and Minnesota ... Power Five conference doubles wins against Wisconsin, Minnesota, Virginia Tech, Louisville and Penn State ... Clinched Marshall's Conference USA road win at Old Dominion with a three-set win at the No. 6 spot ... Won her only completed singles match at the Conference USA Championships, a three-set quarterfinal win against WKU ... Won six singles matches and three doubles matches in the fall season ... PERSONAL: Dani is a Health Sciences Major and has an older brother that lives in Germany.
