David Reed is the Senior Compliance Administrator at Marshall University, bringing nearly three decades of experience in NCAA compliance, legal affairs, and athletic administration.
He has held senior leadership roles at institutions including the University of Kansas, University of Miami, University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Louisiana Monroe, and currently serves as Executive Vice President for Compliance Solutions at Fortify College Athletics LLC.
David began his compliance career at Marshall University, where he also earned a Master of Science in Athletic Administration. He holds a Juris Master from Florida State University, a Master of Legal Studies from West Virginia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from Kansas State University.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, David is known for his strategic leadership, mentorship, and commitment to integrity in collegiate athletics.
