Dayton, OH-Marshall University's softball team wrapped up its fall exhibition schedule with a win over the University of Dayton to take first place at the Wright State Fall Classic. The Herd went 3-1 on the weekend.

Marshall opened up the tournament with a 21-0 pounding of Wittenburg University in five innings on Saturday. The Herd then fell to Wright State 2-1 in the seventh inning, before knocking off Dayton 2-1 to move into the championship game.
