Women's Soccer to Face Off Against Ohio

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.- The Marshall University women?s soccer team will take on the Bobcats of Ohio University at Sam Hood Field on the campus of Marshall University on Friday. The match will kick off at 7:00 p.m.
The contest will be the final match of the season for the Herd who is 6-8-2 overall and 3-6-2 in the Mid-American Conference up to this point. Marshall?s final match will also mark the end of four successful careers. Seniors Lindsey Jayjack, Kelly Kennedy, Karla Ledford and Kelly Posey will be honored before kickoff on Friday night.
The Bobcats come into the contest with an impressive 12-4-2 overall record and a 6-3-2 mark in the MAC.
The Herd hasn?t defeated their traditional rival in four tries and are looking to avenge a 1-0 loss in Athens last season.
