Marshall University?s men?s basketball team will host Radford University Saturday at the Cam Henderson Center in Huntington. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The game will be Marshall?s first home contest in more than two weeks. Marshall (3-1) has not played at home since downing Kentucky State, 112-78, on November 25th.
Marshall is coming off of a 75-57 win at Northern Illinois last Saturday. In that game, Ronald Blackshear led the Thundering Herd with 21 points and Monty Wright added a career-high 18 points.
Radford (2-4) enters the game riding a two-game losing streak. The Highlanders are averaging 54.3 points per game and are led by senior guard Raymond Arrington?s 13 points per contest. The Highlanders are also under the direction of first-year head coach Byron Samuels.
Saturday?s game will be the seventh meeting all-time between the two schools and Marshall has a commanding 6-1 lead in the series. The Thundering Herd escaped Radford with a 67-63 win last season.
