Marshall Men's Basketball Announces First Annual Coaches Clinic

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.-Marshall head coach Ron Jirsa and his staff will be conducting the First Annual Coaches Clinic on Thursday, October 30th, in the Cam Henderson Center, with Kentucky head coach Orlando "Tubby" Smith serving as the event's featured speaker.
"Ron Jirsa is a good friend and I'm thankful for the opportunity to be a part of his coaching clinic," said the Kentucky coach. "I'm looking forward to it. These events are always fun because they allow us coaches to talk about what we love: helping young people enjoy the great game of basketball."
Also included in the clinic is a coaches social with a Henderson Center tour, a Marshall basketball practice, a catered dinner, a Nike Notebook, and the opportunity to meet with Marshall coaches for the entire day.
"This clinic is for all levels of coaching to watch a high intensity practice and hear from a great coach," said Jirsa. "We look forward to sharing this clinic with other coaches in the community."
Cost for the event is $30 for pre-registration, and $35 the day of the event.
