Nilsson Named MAC Swimmer of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Junior Erika Nilsson was named Mid-American Conference's Women's Swimmer of the Week on Thursday for her performance Saturday at Youngstown State.

Nilsson helped the Herd (1-0) to their victory over Youngstown (133-107) with first place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.68), the 500-yard freestyle (5:07.61), and the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:41.92).

The Herd will be back in action on Friday, October 31 when they play host to Toledo. Start time is set for 4:00 p.m. in the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium.
