- Box Score
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana University used a stellar second half effort to take down Marshall 4-0 in Bloomington Sunday afternoon.
Both squads entered the locker room scoreless at halftime.
The Hoosiers then managed to score four goals in the second half while the Herd was shutout.
"It is disappointing," head coach Chris Kane said. "But we are headed back to conference action next weekend.
With six games left, we simply must turn it on."
The Herd was out-shot 16-3 in the contest.
Redshirt freshman Kai Nordness (Burnsville, Minn.) had four saves in the loss.
Marshall drops to 1-10-1 (1-5-0 MAC). Indiana improves to 5-6-0.
The Herd returns to action in Ypsilanti, Mich. on October 10th to take on Eastern Michigan in conference action.
The game starts at 3 p.m.
