Marshall Women Finish 16th At Mary Fossum Invitational

EAST LANSING, Mich.--The Marshall women's golf team ended the Mary Fossum Invitational at Michigan State University in 16th place.
Allyson Hatcher (Wheeling, W.Va.) led the way for Marshall with a three-round total of 244 (T-49th, +28). Carling Dickey (New Castle, Ind.) was next with a 246 (T-56th, +30), followed by Sheena Caron (Bolt, W.Va.) and Stacy Wagner (Harmony, Pa.) with a 260 (T-84th, +44), and Meredith Crislip with a 275 (90th, +59).
Marshall's team total was 1009.
The host Spartans won the overall team title and low medalist honors. Michigan State finished with a three-round total of 901, while Allison Fouch shot a six over par, 222.
Marshall's next tournament is October 4th and 5th at the University of Michigan Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich.
