Six Marshall Athletes Named CSC Academic All-District At-Large

Five Herd Women’s Golfers honored; Ropietski represents Men’s Golf
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Athletics had six student-athletes named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District in the At-Large Division, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Marshall Women's Golf had five of the six players honored by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday. Those honored include Madison Borders, Savannah Hawkins, Abbey Bull, Olivia Kochan and Taylor Sargent.
Those five players were part of a team effort in the classroom that saw Marshall Women's Golf finish with an Overall GPA of 3.95 for the 2025-26 academic year – the highest program within Marshall Athletics.
Cael Ropietski also represented Marshall Men's Golf as a CSC Academic All-District selection.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team in golf, athletes must have a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average and compete in 70 percent of team competitions throughout the course of a calendar year.
The At-Large Division within College Sports Communicators Academic All-District nominations includes the following sports: Fencing, Field Hockey, Golf, Gymnastics, Ice Hockey, Lacrosse, Rifle, Skiing, Men's Volleyball, Water Polo, Wrestling
