Allyson Hatcher Named MAC Women's Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Freshman Allyson Hatcher (Wheeling, W.Va.) was named the MAC Women's Golfer of the Week for her play at the Lady Herd/El Diablo Intercollegiate Golf Tournament last week.

Hatcher, in her first year of competition, finished tied for 10th out of 99 golfers last week at the second annual El Diablo Tournament with a three-round total of 231. Marshall finished tied for seventh in the tournament, held in Citrus Springs, Fla.

Hatcher becomes the second Herd women's golfer to win the weekly conference award. Sheena Caron (Bolt, W.Va.) claimed the honor last spring in the Herd's inaugural year of competition.
