Softball Program to Host July Camps

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. ? The Marshall University softball program will be hosting its fourth annual all skills and pitching camps from July 12-16 at Dot Hicks Field for players of all ages.

The all skills camp is a three-day event from July 12-14. All aspects of the fastpitch game will be covered, with morning sessions concentrating on hitting and the afternoon sessions focused on defense. The cost for the all skills camp is $140.

The pitching camp runs from July 15-16 and costs $50. Proper techniques and mechanics of the position are a major component of the pitching camp.

Players can attend both camps for only $165. Lunch will be provided to all campers as well as a T-shirt. Contact the MU softball office at 696-4370 or use the link above to acquire a camp brochure.
