Track Completes Indoor Season at MAC Championships

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. - The Marshall University track team completed its indoor season on Saturday at the Mid-American Conference Championships.

Sophomore Teniqua Sutton (Westbury, N.J.) led the Thundering Herd with a seventh place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 37-08.00 (11.48m). Sutton also had a 14th place finish in the long jump with a distance 17-11.00 (5.46m).

In the 60-meter hurdles Karmen Collins (Slicklerville, N.J.) had a 14th place finish with a time of 9.17. Junior Xavier Richards (Kingston, Jamaica) added a 14th place finish in the 400-meter dash (57.38) and a 19th place finish in the 200-meter dash (25.63).

Senior Stephanie Eastman (Spencer, W.Va.) had a 17th place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:24.13.
