Women's Golf Heads To St. Croix Collegiate Classic

ST. CROIX, Virgin Islands - The Thundering Herd will take part in its second spring tournament of 2005 at the St. Croix Collegiate Classic March 11-13. The event is hosted by Xavier University.
The tournament will be held at the par-72, 6,020-yard Carambola Golf Club in St. Croix. Barry, Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky, Notre Dame, Texas-Pan American, Wofford and Xavier will all participate with Marshall in this weekend's event.
Amber Churchill (Dublin, Ohio), Stacy Wagner (Harmony, Pa.), Whitney Wolejko (Hatfield, Mass.), Meredith Crislip (Parkersburg, W.Va.), Jodie Switzer (Collingwood, Ontario), and Allyson Hatcher (Wheeling, W.Va.) will tee it up for the Thundering Herd this weekend.
The first round of the tournament begins Friday, with the subsequent second and third rounds coming on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
